As tattoo artists gain experience and refine their skills, their rates naturally increase to reflect their growth. Additionally, tattoo prices often rise due to economic inflation, and we’re all feeling that right now. Since 2022, my rate has been $150 per hour, and I will be keeping it the same throughout 2025. This isn’t because I undervalue my skills or charge less than I’m worth. Rather, I’m in a position where I can get by at this rate and want to continue offering affordable services despite rising costs. I understand that $150 per hour may still be out of reach for some, but I am committed to making quality tattoos as accessible as possible. I will reassess my pricing in 2026 and may make adjustments at that time. In the meantime, I encourage everyone to prioritize finding the right artist and getting the tattoo they truly want over simply choosing the lowest price. Saving up for a quality piece is always better than ending up with a tattoo you might regret, and will cost even more to cover up or remove later.
